About the Hood/Rest Mei-Tai
The Glory Baby, Hood/Rest MT features include:
*A sleeping HOOD that TURNS INTO a HEADREST. Giving you more versatility with the carrier.
*A REVERSIBLE design for "his and hers" looks. So each side has a pattern giving you TWO MT's in ONE!
*A special "flipper" panel to cover the pattern on the hood that is not in use so that when you use your hood/rest the opposite pattern is not seen.
*Newborn--40+ pounds
*Tether anchores for the hood/rest for both positions. These also double as toy hooks.
*Padded shoulder and waist straps.
*Contoured body style
* An interior stabilizer piece for security that allows the MT to be rock solid and the outside to be all visually pretty =)
DIMENSIONS:
(straps are approximates since it flattens differently with the padding as it is sewn =)
*)Shoulder straps: 3-3 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/4yards long
*)Waist Strap is one fluid piece 5inches wide x 2 1/2 yards long
(*note there are a few floating around that are 2 1/4, we went with the longer length because we figured a little longer is better than a little shorter)
*) Body is 15 inches long x 14 inches wide at narrowest (middle), 16 inches at the very bottom and about 18 from outside of shoulder to the other. You can shorten the rise by folding the waist strap in to adjust for a shorter baby if you would like.
*) Hood: approx. 11 inches long x approx. 13 inches wide at its widest, tethers are 15 inches long.

I've just received my absolutely wonderful, better than I could have imagined, beautifully crafted Glory Baby. After my chiropractor visit, I just had to take the kids to the park to try it out. In a word.... WAHOOO! The design is such that I barely feel the weight of my 1 year old, the hood is a marvel of engineering and works beautifully to keep off the sun, and he was so snug and comfortable that my 6 year old and I walked around the track and ran around the playground and the baby never once budged.
